One of the few natives of Denver, Mary Louise Lee began performing at an early age. For close to 20 years, she has built an extraordinary professional performing career. Internationally, she has toured Korea, Japan, Johnston Island, Honduras, and Panama while singing for the troops of the United States Department of Defense.

Mary Louise has performed at numerous high profile events throughout the country, including the The 2012 National Democratic Convention in Charlotte,  NC;
Many private events for the 2008 National Democratic Convention in Denver, Governor Bill Ritter's Inaugural Gala,
The 2008 Colorado State Senate Opening Ceremony,
Denver  Mayor's City Address,
2004 National Democratic Convention in Boston,   the Metro Denver Chamber of Commerce, the Colorado Black Chamber of Commerce, the Urban League of Metropolitan Denver, the Martin Luther King, Jr. Business Responsibility Luncheon and YMCA's MLK Awards Breakfast, many Denver Nuggets games, the opening of the Red Rocks Visitor Center,   Girl Scouts Gala;  The Games People Play New Year's Eve Gala just to name a few. 

In addition, she is a highly sought after vocal coach, coordinator, director, and mentor for many vocal groups and performance troupes, which include: co-directing the 2003 Inaugural Children's Choir for the City and County of Denver's Mayoral Inauguration.

Mary Louise is highly recognized for her Musical Stage Performances including:
"The Wiz"  and "Annie"    -  Afterthought Theatre Company
"Powerwoman" in Menopause the Musical - Denver Civic Theatre;
"Charlene" in Ain't Misbehavin' (Top of the Rockies 2005, "Best Actress/Musical"),
"Narrator" in Beehive - Country Dinner Playhouse;
"Smokey Joe's Café" - Theatre Aspen;
"Geneva" in 1940's Radio Hour - Arvada Center;
"Billie Holiday" in Lady Day at Emerson's Bar & Grill    (Westword 2003,  and 
              "Best Actress in a Musical") - Shadow Theatre
Nominated by the Denver Post in 2005 for the Denver Post Ovation Award for
              "Best Year for an Actress". 
National credits include: A Brief History of White Music, Beehive,   and Up On the Roof
              (Denver Drama Critics Circle 89-90 "Best Performance by Actress/Musical"). 

The Mary Louise Lee Band brings the excitement of Rhythm & Blues,  Jazz and Top 40,
to Special Events,  Dance Parties,  and Corporate Dinners.

Mary Louise Tribute Shows include:  Ella Fitzgerald;   Billie Holiday & the Ladies of Jazz;   and Aretha Franklin!

Mary Louise is also in demand to sing the National Anthem,  and other Patriotic and Americana Songs for Major Sporting Events;   General Sessions;   Grand Openings; and  more.
